Jack Flash Convenience Stores is a family-owned retailer focused on providing customers with superior service and great products in the most appealing environment. We are currently looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Store Merchandiser in Effingham, IL
.

We believe that people are the most important aspect of our business; therefore, a Store Merchandiser must have good interpersonal skills in dealing with customers, fellow Team Members and vendors.

Applicants should have sufficient merchandising experience in a similar type of retail environment with good knowledge of creating a visually appealing store environment, as well as proficient computer skills (Excel, Windows, etc.).

• Display strong organizational skills.
• Creative problem solving.
• Maintain visual integrity of the sales floor.
• Ensure timely shipment processing.
• Maintain steady productivity through close observation.
• Conduct physical inventory counts.
• Keep inventory shortages to a minimum.
• Maintain adequate stock on hand.
• Provide Jack Flash customers with excellent Service, Quality, Cleanliness and Value.
• Responsible for stores upkeep and appearance.
• Maintain product fullness and cleanliness.
• Other tasks as required.

• Applicants must be a high school graduate with a college degree preferred or equivalent experience in a similar position.
• Applicants must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to customers, store managers and vendors.
• Applicants must be able to stoop, bend and perform excessive standing and walking.
• Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Applicants must have a valid state driving license.
