The Employee Training & Development Manager is responsible for managing our employee experience at Dieterich Bank. This position will focus on bank wide training initiatives as well as individual department specific programs (development and delivery, tracking completion, and following up and evaluating effectiveness). This position will play a key role in maintaining our employer of choice designation and execution of our service excellence standards.

Essential Duties
Work one-on-one with our Recruitment and Onboarding Manager to ensure every employee hired at Dieterich Bank is set up for a successful career from day 1.Conduct training needs assessments throughout the organization and determine training needs to fill the gaps and meet the needs of the bank.Partner with leadership to develop a training guide for each position within the organization and assist department managers in tracking and evaluating employee performance through the training program.Develop & Maintain a structured training process to allow for positions to be trained in a consistent manner.Research new training materials, outlets, and supplies that may enhance training procedures and provide value to employees.Be creative with new ways of presenting information to engage employees.Assist in the planning and development of employee meetings that include professional development topics.Manage records and training logs for future reference.Develop succession plans throughout all positions and departments throughout the bank and manage the plans to ensure successful transitions when the need arises.Continuously identify areas of improvement in employee education and training and present new ideas to keep us up to date in the industry and to assist in our employee retention.Develop, manage, and maintain a leadership development program for the organization that creates opportunity for employees to progress in their career, assists in our succession planning, and builds a team ready for growth.Maintain the bank's library of training resources and ensure availability upon request from employees and management.Create, implement, and coordinate training on new products and services.Partner with outside vendors to provide training needed to the organization with a focus on sales and building relationships with customers.Complete train the trainer courses as needed to administer training programs in house.Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, organizational development and learning, or a related field or equivalent experience.2-5 years of experience in a position managing culture and employee development.Work Schedule
The work schedule will primarily be from 8 a.m.
- 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some evening work may be required to accommodate training needs. Travel to other branches will be necessary to get a new hire or the staff at a branch trained.
