Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineer in the posting locations below. In this role, you will work on a wide variety of projects for municipal and private clients. Types of projects include site design, sanitary/storm improvements, sidewalk and roadway grading, and water main design. Posting Locations: Champaign or Effingham, IL
What You’ll Do- Plan, design, complete, and manage a variety of municipal, and some private owner, civil engineering projects from inception to completion, with oversight from senior engineers
- Prepare and develop construction plans and documents
- Collaborate with Farnsworth Group disciplines and subconsultants
- Occasionally attend project, city staff, and board meetings
- Prepare project proposals
- Assist with business development efforts and developments of projects
- Manage, support, and build relationships with clients and agencies
- Conduct project field observations and assessments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- 8 - 15 years of experience in the civil engineering field
- Professional Engineering License (PE)

Salary RangeSalary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
