Supports the accounting team by managing daily financial tasks, ensuring accurate transaction recording, and maintaining organized records. Streamlines financial operations to support informed decision‑making and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Match vendor and subcontractor invoices to specific jobs.
- Generate customer invoices once jobs are complete.
- Ensure accurate entry of materials, rentals, and warranty expenses.
- Perform A/P and A/R reconciliations.
- Assist with reconciling job expenses and vendor statements.
- Prepare clear financial reports for internal teams.
- Communicate with vendors and staff to resolve billing questions.
- Support project managers and the Accounting Manager with daily financial operations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Understanding of job costing and construction billing.
- Familiarity with payroll systems.
