Sales Account Manager – MO Territory (Utilitra)
Job Title: Sales Account Manager
Status: Full-time/Exempt
Reports to: Sales Manager
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday (flexible hours)
Compensation: $60,000 – $80,000 per year plus commissions. This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends on applicant credentials. At Utilitra, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package. This position also offers a strong commission structure.

Maintain the sales relationship for our existing customers and create new sales opportunities.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis role does not have any direct reports.
Duties / Responsibilities- Create and manage the entire life cycle of new sales opportunities
- Work within the sales team to develop sales strategies
- Find and foster new relationships and customers
- Recommend equipment and solutions
- Create B.O.M. and proposal for sales opportunities
- Work with vendors to create solutions for our customers
- Respond to public proposal requests
- Manage existing customer relationships
- Schedule and participate in Quarterly Business Review meetings
- Manage and send communications to existing customers
- Serve as sales P.O.C. for existing customers
- Serve as a sales resource for existing customers
- Create proposals and quotes
- Recommend equipment and solutions
- Work with Technical Resources to solve customer‑facing issues
- Serve as a sales resource for existing customers
- Renew contracts and follow up with existing customers
- Other duties as assigned or prudent
- Cross‑train in all facets of the Technology Division, preparing to fill in for anyone absent and grow in responsibility and scope over time
The person in this role will uphold the culture of Utilitra, including relationship building with customers as well as general behavior on Utilitra or client premises or at Utilitra‑sponsored events.
Requirements / Qualifications- Two‑year college degree or professional work experience
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Extremely outgoing and a passion to help others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- General IT background
- Preferred sales experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to multi‑task while staying organized
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to use independent judgment, maintain a high level of confidentiality, and operate under minimal supervision
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, driving, and sitting for prolonged periods of time
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face‑to‑face meetings with existing and potential customers. Over 95% of work is local
