Retail Scan Associate – Edwardsville, IL 62025

Position: Permanent part‑time role. Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer.

• Perform in‑store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes throughout each store.
• Provide the quantity of approximately 45% of the products scanned.
• Complete Display Scanning every week (may take several hours).
• Complete Custom Project assignments (30 minutes to 2 hours weekly for some weeks).
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver high‑quality data.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure long periods on your feet and reach for products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stret/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline‑driven self‑starter.
• Access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
