Responsibilities- Provide leadership to a customer-centric team of associates and accelerate seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office.
- Serve as the front-line manager to lead development of tax office associates, deliver an outstanding client experience, and achieve office growth objectives.
- Advise and support associates on tax topics and products, acting as a knowledgeable resource.
- Lead daily team activities to ensure work is completed on time with quality standards, priorities, and goals.
- Build an engaging team environment through training and coaching to meet Service Standards and recognize outstanding contributions.
- Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to staff.
- Create associate work schedules, ensure accurate timekeeping and overtime management.
- Prepare tax returns as required and conduct timely performance reviews; partner with Associate Relations Center to address issues.
- Multi-unit people management experience in retail, restaurant, banking, or related industry
- 2+ years as a Tax Professional
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns)
- Annual continuing education and ability to meet IRS and applicable state requirements
- Computer proficiency with MS Office
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- High school diploma or equivalent or higher

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Eligible colleagues may participate in incentive plans and benefits described in company materials.
Pay Range
$15.00 - $65.00/Hr.
