General Summary

The ECS LDAR Technician is responsible for conducting air monitoring and emissions measurement activities, performing equipment calibrations and maintenance, and collecting and organizing field data for air quality compliance and emissions assessment programs.

Essential Job Functions
  • Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and practices, alerting others to potential hazards.
  • Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM’s Core Values.
  • Performs EPA Method 21 hydrocarbon leak detection using a portable gas analyzer and electronic data collector.
  • Performs analyzer certification, calibration, and routine preventative maintenance to ensure testing equipment operates optimally.
  • Completes activities for monitoring routes within specified time frames, ensuring thorough monitoring and accurate reporting.
  • Identifies leaks as per regulations, attaches leak source tags, and reports findings.
  • Performs visual assessments for hydrocarbon leaks and reports equipment issues.
  • Maintains LDAR component identification and records changes in inventory.
  • Provides daily ECS reports and communicates with site personnel and management regarding equipment changes.
  • Communicates with plant personnel as directed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Job Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Preferred:
      One or more years of experience in an industrial or plant environment.
    • Travel Requirements: 0%-25%
    Work Conditions
    • Position based at a branch or site location.
    • Field duties involve indoor and outdoor work in plant environments.
    • Interaction with crew, supervisors, and client personnel.
    • Work around machinery with high noise levels.
    • Ability to wear safety equipment as required.
    • Potential for travel between sites and exposure to climate changes.
