- Operational Services 2 (OS2) – $23.74 – $30.04 hourly
- Operational Services 3 (OS3) – $25.37 – $32.10 hourly
- Work in one of Alberta’s forestry warehouses to receive, store, and issue equipment and supplies to firefighting teams.
- Maintain emergency readiness through equipment repair, cleaning, and restocking.
- Assemble and certify equipment kits to meet fire line standards.
- Support procurement and delivery of supplies for other government programs.
- Operate a forklift for loading and unloading deliveries.
- Work both independently and collaboratively to meet operational objectives.
- Receiving, storing, and issuing materials to Forestry staff.
- Coordinating transportation of equipment to designated locations.
- Assisting with surplus equipment management.
- Operating a forklift and maintaining equipment.
- Manage delivery of equipment locally and across the province.
- Make independent daily operational decisions.
- Work under supervisor assignments and receive informal daily review.
- Receive goods, update data using IMIS program, reconcile with purchase records.
- Build kits for the field using stock items.
- Provide receiving services for other areas.
- Ship inventory, ensuring TDG paperwork is correct.
- Ensure safe workplace practices; maintain tool inventory and forklift maintenance.

- Warehouse Support (OS2):
Some high school education; one year related experience. - Stockkeeper (OS3):
High school education; one year related experience. - All candidates must be 18 years or older as of March 1, 2026.
- Highly organized, prioritize and manage tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of equipment used in Wildland Fire Suppression.
- Good physical stamina for heavy lifting.
- Forklift certification.
- Retail, warehouse and customer service experience.
- Valid, unrestricted Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Minimum 3‑year Driver's Abstract with ≤7 demerits.
- Current Defensive Driving certificate.
- Valid Standard First Aid certificate with CPR certification.
- 11.6% wage supplement in lieu of benefits and vacation.
- Shift differential, overtime, evening, and weekend opportunities.
- Premium Pay Allowances for Northern and Fort McMurray areas.
- Seasonal wage, 40 hours per week, overtime as required.
- May work evenings, weekends, and overtime during wildfire season.
- Training will be provided.
- Ability to lift at least 25 kg.
- Housing may be available depending on location.
- Employment term 3–8 months, April to Oct 2026.
