Essential Responsibilities
General Highway Maintenance Duties
Asset inspection and data gathering using the ArcGIS system
Culvert inspection and cleaning
System testing and feedback to support highway operations and digital asset management
Road patrols and debris removal
Assisting with traffic control procedures
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Other road maintenance tasks as required
Qualifications
Experience with ArcGIS or similar mapping systems
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Ability to provide a 3‑year driver’s abstract
Successful completion of pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing
Physically able to perform demanding outdoor tasks
Work Conditions
Applicants that are local may be given preference due to the location of the work (No Camp or LOA provided)
As LHL is obligated to respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on‑call, and night shift will be required
Will be provided a pay rate of $21/hr – $24/hr based on experience
Night shift premium $3/hr
