Preventive Maintenance Technician

Brandt is currently seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician for our Edmonton Construction and Forestry location.

This individual will be responsible for completing on-site preventive maintenance services on commercial heavy equipment at customer sites utilizing state of the art technologies and a new purpose built truck.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performing all levels of PM services on a scheduled basis in a professional manner
• Identify issues with malfunctioning equipment, analyze the root causes, and devise appropriate solutions for repairs, replacements, or adjustments
• Identifying and reporting on additional items identified that require follow-up service work by a service technician
• Ensuring the accurate capture and reporting of PM service checklist, inspection, and work order information for the benefit of customer reporting
• Other duties as assigned

• Motivated, energetic, and have strong oral communication skills
• Willing to work after-hours and/or participate in shift-work as required to support customer needs
• High degree of mechanical aptitude
• A recent driver’s abstract will be required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Candidates with trade experience to a second- or third-year apprentice level are encouraged to apply
• Proven experience in contributing in a service-oriented environment working directly with customers and equipment operators are key assets
