• Maintain clean, safe, and well‑organized stables and grounds to company standards.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment safely and efficiently.
• Operate heavy equipment such as graders, tractors, forklifts, and water trucks.
• Assist with track maintenance, including harrowing, watering, and general site preparation.
• Support team members and work under Racing Department management to keep operations smooth.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers for repairs, materials, and track resources.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns or emergencies and coordinate solutions.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and mechanical work as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures, policies, and procedures.
• Take on other duties as assigned — no day is ever the same!

• High school diploma or equivalent (combination of education and experience considered).
• 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment (grader, forklift, tractor, water truck).
• Previous maintenance, construction, or labour experience. Knowledge of the racing or horse industry is an asset.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision while collaborating effectively with the team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clear abstract.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Physical fitness to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions.
