Our Mechanics are responsible for repairing and refurbishing fusion equipment in a distribution plant.
Responsibilities:
Our Mechanics are responsible for repairing and refurbishing fusion equipment in a distribution plant by performing the following duties:
Diagnose, maintain and repair fusion equipment including; small diesel/gas engines, generators, electrical circuits and hydraulic systemsPerform quality inspections of rental fusion equipment prior to returning to serviceMaintain records of service, repairs and scheduled maintenance of rental fusion equipmentInspect and diagnose customer owned equipment to prepare repair quotesCommunicate with maintenance coordinator and service advisors on status of down equipment and customer repairsReport machine defects, damages and malfunctionsRepair and Service fabrication shop equipment as neededPrepare equipment for shippingPrevious experience with computers for order entry, parts ordering and email is a plusAbility to utilize local vendors and/or vendor websites to locate required parts as neededPerform other related duties as assignedBase
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in maintenance or automotive repair preferredDiagnostic ability and Troubleshooting skillsCommitment to qualityAbility to meet deadlines, work flexible hours, and work in a team environmentInterpret technical instructionsCapability to use independent judgment and work both independently and, in a team setting.Basic computer skillsPhysical demands: must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis, standing, climbing is frequently required.
