This position reports directly to the Service Manager.
Responsibilities
Provide customers with courteous and professional in-home servicing of major appliancesConduct appliance assessments to determine the issueResolve installation issuesEstimate the costs of repairs/replacementsOrder parts and ensure inventory supply levels are sufficiently maintainedCommunicate with customers regarding details of the assessment and servicing requiredProvide information to assist customers in obtaining optimum performance of their productsComplete all service documentation, describing repairs in detail and reporting identification of repaired stockAdhere to all health and safety, security, building and departmental proceduresEnsure the proper maintenance of shop tools and vehiclesPrepare reportsQualifications
High school diploma or equivalent2 or more years previous experience and/or education in major appliance serviceValid driver’s license (must be able to provide a clean driving abstract)Outstanding Customer Service skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional and courteous phone etiquetteHighly developed technical, investigative, and analytical skillsPunctuality and dependability a mustMust be organized and detail orientedAppliance Technician certification or willingness to obtain oneWhy Trans Global?
