Paladin Security is looking for dedicated and community-minded individuals to join our Healthcare Security team in Wabasca. As a Healthcare Security Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of patients, clinical staff, visitors, and the general public.

• Pay Rate: $26.01/hour
• Sign‑On Bonus: $500 for already licensed Alberta Security Guards (conditions apply)

• Monitor patient safety and report concerns to Protective Services or Clinical staff
• Report all incidents based on site procedures
• Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance
• Follow and enforce safety regulations, codes, and protocols
• Handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
• Use radios and computer systems to communicate site updates
• Screen and assist visitors and clients respectfully and professionally
• Respond to, de‑escalate, and manage high‑stress situations
• Ensure safety of all stakeholders through proper intervention and conflict management
• Log and document incidents from hospital staff, patients, or visitors
• Maintain detailed records of all patient interactions
• Respond promptly to emergency assistance requests

• Must live within 30 minutes of Wabasca
• Must be available days, evenings, and nights, 7 days a week
• Availability for varied shifts including overnights and weekends
• Ability to obtain an Alberta Security License
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and personal vehicle
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional, tactful, and customer‑focused demeanor
• Ability to write thorough reports and maintain logs
• Sound decision‑making skills under pressure
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to walk 18–20 km per shift and climb stairs
• Authorized to work in Canada
