The mission

Close deals. Period.

Bustem protects high-growth e-commerce brands from copycats, counterfeiters, scammers, and unauthorized sellers. We generate demand through founder-led content, referrals, and inbound. Now we need a closer who can turn qualified interest into signed contracts consistently.

This is not a “spray and pray” SDR role. This is a high-trust, consultative close where you diagnose the problem, quantify the loss, and drive urgency to act.

What you’ll do
  • Run sales calls end-to-end (discovery → demo → close)
  • Qualify hard and fast (ICP fit, pain, urgency, budget, decision process)
  • Sell value, not features: quantify revenue leakage and risk
  • Handle objections cleanly (in-house team, “we already have someone,” “send info,” price)
  • Own follow-ups and pipeline hygiene (no ghosts, no loose ends)
  • Coordinate handoff to Client Success so the account starts strong
  • Feed the team insights: why deals win/lose, what messaging hits, what offers convert
What “good” looks like
  • You close consistently and predictably
  • You can create urgency without being sleazy
  • You control the call, ask sharp questions, and don’t ramble
  • You write tight follow-ups that move deals forward
  • Your pipeline is organized and your forecast is real
Requirements (must-have)
  • Proven closing experience (B2B or high-ticket services)
  • Strong discovery skills and the ability to sell into pain
  • Comfortable talking to ecom operators (founders, CMOs, heads of growth)
  • Competitive, high-output, low-ego
  • You move fast and you don’t need babysitting
Bonus points
  • Experience selling to e-commerce brands
  • B2B SaaS and/or performance-based service experience
  • Familiarity with brand protection, fraud, or marketplace enforcement
  • You’ve sold retainers and understand churn/retention dynamics
