We are hiring a Sales Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott Edmonton Downtown!
Being the Sales Manager at a Concord Hospitality property means you hold an important key to the hotel’s success. You will develop and foster hotel business through direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, and tours of the hotel for both guest rooms and event space.
Responsibilities- Provide high levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients.
- Respond quickly, professionally, and clearly to all communications.
- Demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, proactive planning, and attention to detail.
- Maintain assigned accounts and develop new business for the hotel.
- Monitor and manage pre-event, event, and post-event details effectively.
- Assist with projects, reports, training, coaching, and employee supervision as directed.
- Work with Dir of Sales and Marketing to accurately forecast group rooms and F&B revenues and understand strategies to maximize space and revenue.
- Gain knowledge of the hotel's food and beverage products, function space, audio visual, and other event details.
- Consistently achieve sales activity and individual revenue goals through proactive and reactive calls, tours, and appointments.
- Learn and use digital sales systems and hotel sales strategies to accomplish individual and team goals.
- Participate in internal meetings, conference calls, reporting, planning, training, and other required communications.
- Foster teamwork and an entrepreneurial spirit to achieve the hotel's overall goals.
- Comply with company policies and procedures and fulfill any reasonable management requests.
