Summary:
Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, the Task Team Outfitter is responsible for executing visual merchandising plans, planograms, and flyer/ad sets on the sales floor.
Responsibilities:
Support visual merchandising for assigned areas including fixture replacement, updating signage, updating end caps, floor moves, mannequin dressing, and prep and setup of merchandise for adsPerform resets for assigned departments when requiredAssist with merchandise purges when assignedPerform replenishment tasks across departments including filling, folding, repackaging, sorting, facing, hanging, and locating itemsAssist customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions when working on the Sales floor during store open hoursPerform other duties as assigned by managementQualifications:
Two or more years’ experience in merchandising is preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentA combination of education and experience will be considered with hiring preference given to those with at least six months of merchandising experienceAbility to pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy of workAbility to use good judgment and logicExperience in a related field or outdoor lifestyleKnowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s specific products is an assetBass Pro Shops & Cabela’s welcomes applications from people with disabilities.
