Location: AchesonO’Hanlon Paving is looking for an enthusiastic Quality Control Technician to work seasonally in a full-time capacity at our Acheson, AB plant. The successful candidate must be able to align with the company's core values:

Responsibilities:
On site sampling, coring, and testing of asphalt and gravelLab testing of asphalt and gravelOrganize testing schedules and ensure the availability of necessary materials for testingMaintain and perform detailed recordsQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field (Civil Engineering Technology) is an assetMinimum 1-2 years of experience with asphalt testing is preferredPrior experience with road building industry will be an assetMust have proven ability to be self-motivated and be able to work with limited supervisionGood written and verbal communication skillsValid Alberta driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstractAbility to work long hours/some weekendsProficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel and other ERPsStrong Organization skills, detailed oriented and ability to manage multiple tasksMust be a team player with a positive attitudeProven customer service abilityAdditional Information:
Must have access to a reliable vehicle to commute to the Acheson siteTraining will be provided for various activitiesWe offer excellent wages and benefit eligibility after 3 months in which you may continue your benefits during the winter months (off season)The Fath Group:
