Senior Executive, Volunteer Management
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Executive, Volunteer Management to play a key role in building a vibrant, volunteer‑friendly culture within our organisation. Working closely with the Volunteer Management Manager and programme teams, you will support the design, implementation, and evaluation of volunteer programmes that are safe, engaging, and impactful for both volunteers and the communities we serve.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, systems, and partnerships, and who is passionate about enabling volunteers to contribute meaningfully.
Key ResponsibilitiesVolunteer Programme Development & Organisational Readiness
- Assist in development, review, implementation and enhancement of volunteer policies, processes, and systems.
- Work with services to create a safe, inclusive, and volunteer-friendly environment.
- Conduct volunteer needs analysis, job design, and risk assessment.
- Monitor and optimise the use of volunteer programme resources.
- Support recruitment strategies, publicity efforts, and engagement with potential volunteers.
- Coordinate volunteer enquiries, screening, selection, and role matching.
- Maintain accurate volunteer data in compliance with PDPA and organisational guidelines.
- Track and report recruitment outcomes and manage digital volunteer systems.
- Support the review and delivery of volunteer orientation and role‑specific training for volunteers.
- Assist in rostering, deployment, and ongoing volunteer support.
- Contribute to engagement, recognition, and development initiatives.
- Assist the VM in managing feedback, complaints, and conflict resolution where required.
- Assist in evaluating volunteer performance and programme effectiveness.
- Support feedback collection, engagement reviews, and exit procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on remedial actions and manage volunteer exit or disengagement processes when required.
- Coordinate volunteer partnerships and collaborations. Work with internal teams, community stakeholders, corporate partners, and external agencies for volunteer programme development.
- Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on volunteer programmes.
- Support secretariat and coordination duties for partnership meetings.
- Meticulous, organised, and committed.
- Strong problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
- Able to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic social service environment.
- Diploma and above in Social Work, Psychology, Human Resource Management, People Management, or related fields.
- 5 years and above of working experience in a social service agency or volunteer engagement.
- Experience in organising or coordinating volunteer programmes is an advantage.
