Quality Control Inspector

Tackpoint LP is an established company that designs and manufactures customized bearings and other machined solutions for industrial applications. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our day shift team.

Tackpoint uses the latest equipment and has strong process controls in place to ensure efficient operations to produce high-tolerance, precision custom bearings for unique applications. Responsibilities:

• Performs first off, in process and final inspections as required and records the results
• Ensures that non-conforming parts are documented, tagged and the required disposition carried out
• Inspect parts at receiving, in-process, and final stages to ensure quality standards are met
• Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment
• Work closely with shop and production managers to resolve quality issues

Qualifications:

• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong understanding and practical application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with measuring tools and inspection methods
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly
• Flexible, positive, and a strong team player
• Experience operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) is an asset
