We ’ re looking for a Purchasing and Mill Stores Inventory Team Lead to join our High Prairie OSB Division, located in High Prairie, Alberta
. Our mill has undergone an exciting major rebuild and modernization including the commissioning of a new continuous press which will make us the most modern mill in North America.

• 3‑5 years as a purchasing professional.
• Has obtained or is working towards their APICS, SCMP, CSCP, CPIM or equivalent designation.
• Proven experience maintaining inventory levels and operating supplies.
• Experience in a safety‑sensitive, 24‑hour manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and negotiation skills
  , combined with a can‑do attitude.
• A good understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), preferably JD Edwards and Coupa is an asset.
• Experience managing a team.

• Analyze costs, select suppliers, and negotiate contracts for the mill.
• Lead your team to make sure parts, materials and services are procured on time, at the right price, and with the right quality, and quantity.
• Oversee material and operating supplies inventory.
• Oversee inventory analysis, plan and execute optimization plans.
• Support the team in finding creative solutions to meet business needs

• Oversee the work order system enabling you to keep kitting turning over.

• You’ll take on an exciting challenge with supportive team members.
• You’ll earn a competitive salary based on your skills and experience, plus an additional northern allowance. The expected base salary range for this position is $80,250 to $107,000 per year.
• You’ll earn an additional northern allowance on top of your base pay.
