Position: FORKLIFT OPERATOR (MUST BE LICENSED)
Overview
Spirit Employment & Training Inc. is looking for Temporary Warehouse Workers to join our team in Edmonton. This 3-6 month term can potentially lead to full time permanent employment.
Responsibilities
Responsible for a wide range of duties supporting efficient and safe manufacturing and distribution of corrosion protection productsPrimarily working in the coke plant, packaging coke materialsManufacturing, assembly, and packaging of various Corrosion Protection productsGeneral warehouse duties including maintaining the condition of the warehousePicking, shipping & receiving duties as neededProactively follow all Health and Safety requirementsPerform general maintenance, repairs and inspections of specific tools and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operationLoad & unload trucks as neededOperate forklift as neededQualifications
High school Diploma or equivalent education1 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environmentExperience operating hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and specialized equipmentAble to wear a respirator as requiredAble to regularly lift over 50 lbs.Forklift Operator certificate and experience helpfulWelding and soldering experience helpfulWill need CSTS & WHMISMay need to pass Pre-Employment drug & alcohol testing
