Learn more about OCL here:  The Role We are currently seeking motivated 3rd Year CWB Apprentice Welders to join our team at our fabrication shop in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.

Day and Night Shifts available. This role is ideal for apprentices who are progressing through their training, hold active CWB qualifications, and are looking to build their welding skills in a supportive, safety-focused environment.

You will work alongside experienced welders and supervisors to perform high-quality manual welds and support fabrication tasks.

Please note:

This role is strictly for By-hand CWB Welders. Compensation/Benefits Competitive wage with excellent hourly compensation Overtime after 8 hours per day.

Benefits after 90 days of employment (50% employer paid) - vision, health, dental, paramedicals, travel Long term disability, AD&D, life insurance, dependent life insurance Weekly pay Job Duties/Responsibilities Perform hand welding using FCAW and MCAW processes to CWB standards Assist in welding, fabrication and preparation tasks as directed Read and follow basic drawings and instructions Complete welds that meet CWB and project quality requirements Maintain welding equipment and a clean, safe working environment Experience/Education/Qualifications Registered 3rd Year Welding Apprentice Valid CWB qualifications Current FCAW and MCAW tickets Ability to pass a weld test if required Previous experience in fabrication shop and/or field work is an asset Must be reliable, punctual and safety focused CSTS 2020 Fundamentals (including WHMIS 2015) May be required to complete a pre-access drug and alcohol test for certain sites Must have or be willing to obtain necessary site-specific safety tickets and orientations Class 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation Must be eligible to work in Canada OCL Group Inc.
