Governance Coordinator (Term)Our client is searching a Governance Coordinator to join their team! Reporting to the Executive Director, this individual (secretariat) facilitates the governance of the organization by coordinating the exchange of information and decisions between the Board and the Executive Director. Your success will be defined by your ability to:Manage the Board and Board Committee workplans and for planning corresponding agendas for the Board and Board Committee meetingsMaintain accurate, up-to-date records of Board decisions, actions, and governance documentationSupport the execution of Board meetings in accordance with established bylaws, policies, and governance standardsBuild and maintain strong working relationships with the Board Chair, Board and Committee members, Organization Leadership Team, government partners, and other internal and external partnersYour strengths include:Bachelor's degree or advanced certificate in an area of related specialization such as Business, Public Policy, Public Administration, Management or GovernanceStrong business acumen with superior organizational and time management skillsExceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Microsoft Office 365 programsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyAbility to start quickly
