In this high-impact role, you'll lead every stage of our self-performed concrete projects, from the initial vision to the finish line. Reporting to: Manager, Self-Perform Operations

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Supporting business development activities by maintaining long lasting relationships with clients, the design community, engineers, and other organizations which enhance future self performed concrete opportunities

· Working with the Estimating and Project Development teams to secure self performed concrete work

· Overseeing the preconstruction phase and providing leadership to project teams, ensuring execution on the construction and turnover of self performed concrete work

· Develop and/or promote and advance the latest industry technologies, systems, processes, and innovations to ensure Clark Builders maintains its position as an industry leader in construction

· Build diverse, high performing teams, through coaching, training and development opportunities and creating opportunities for new and challenging experiences

· Leading and working with project teams to:

odevelop project specific safety and quality plans

oset profit and productivity goals

oevaluate and select formwork systems

ocomplete the material, subcontractor, and equipment procurement

oassemble the appropriate field crew and field supervision team

oworks with senior operations leaders to hold project teams accountable for meeting the minimum productivity, profit, safety, quality, and schedule goals

oLiaison with Turner Construction’s Self-Perform Concrete peer group across North America monthly

Skills & Knowledge:

· Proven ability to manage complex, multi-storey, institutional and commercial self-perform concrete projects with a variety of formwork systems

· Proven leadership skills, with a strong focus on mentoring and motivating

· Demonstrated ability to manage key relationships, including clients, business partners, government agencies, and subtrades

· Ability to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal and external challenges or obstacles

· Sound understanding of risk management related to self-performed concrete work

· Knowledge of Human Resources policies, practices, and procedures

· Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

· High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability

· Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills

· A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
