Job Responsibilities
1. Dormitory Operations & Resident Management
- Oversee daily operations to ensure a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.
- Act as a key point of contact for residents regarding housing, welfare, and dormitory policies.
- Monitor workers’ movement, conduct site checks, and ensure compliance with all dormitory rules and regulations.
- Maintain and update occupant lists and records accurately at all times.
- Supervise dormitory personnel, including cleaners and operational staff.
- Guide and support team members to ensure effective role performance.
- Implement duty rosters and staffing plans to support smooth dormitory operations.
- Supervise dormitory upkeep and maintenance activities.
- Conduct regular unit and room inspections to identify safety hazards and ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Ensure prompt rectification of irregularities and address defects reported by clients.
- Organize resident meetings, engagement programs, and community‑building activities.
- Promote a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion.
- Educate residents on their rights, responsibilities, and dormitory community standards.
- Enforce safety and security policies; respond to emergencies and incidents in coordination with relevant personnel.
- Ensure full compliance with FEDA and other dormitory licensing requirements.
- Liaise with government authorities and stakeholders when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of dormitory operations, incidents, and occupancy.
- Manage lease agreements, renewals, and monitor rental payment statuses.
- Oversee dormitory budgets and ensure cost‑effective use of resources.
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or N‑Level;
Certificate in Facilities or Property Management is preferred - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in dormitory operations, facilities management, or people supervision
- Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills; able to handle resident issues professionally and tactfully
- Willing to work non‑business hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); able to maintain accurate records and reports
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Positive attitude, responsible, and willing to learn
- Preferably holding security‑related training/certificates
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving license – required for patrolling between 3 dormitory sites (all within 5 minutes’ distance)
- Work location:
Woodlands Industrial Park - Able to start work within short notice
