This position works with government, regulatory and corporate bodies to ensure Canadian compliance. It protects Railserve Canada’s reputation and opportunities for growth through maintenance of an excellent safety record and standing with recognized boards. It protects Railserve’s current contracts by reinforcing a proven safety culture, establishes necessary policies to protect workers and using data to identify trends and opportunities to drive improvements.
Finally, as a member of the Leadership team, sets safety strategy to support the Canadian Strategy and works with the leadership team to establish objectives and tactical items to deliver.
The Canadian Safety Director is responsible for leading the company EH&S program across the Canadian region.
