Power BI Developer

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to support the design, development, and delivery of analytics and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Power BI along with the ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate needs into effective dashboards, and ensure high quality reporting outcomes.

Key Responsibilities   Develop & design Power BI dashboards and reports for various business needs (e.g., technical debt reporting, Microsoft licensing insights, operational performance).
Gather reporting requirements by engaging with stakeholders through meetings and interviews.
Analyze data inputs from multiple sources, including Excel files, system-generated extracts, and other business documentation.
Document reporting requirements, data models, and design specifications.
Build intuitive and visually compelling dashboards aligned with organizational standards and KPIs.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to validate data accuracy and ensure report usability.
Troubleshoot reporting issues and optimize existing dashboards for performance and scalability.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders, presenting insights and recommendations as needed.
Required Skills & Experience   8+ years of professional experience, with a strong focus on Power BI report development.
Proficiency in building data models, DAX calculations, and advanced Power BI visualizations.
Experience sourcing data from Excel, system extracts, and other unstructured inputs.
Strong business analysis skills with the ability to capture and interpret requirements through direct stakeholder interactions.
Demonstrated experience developing reports related to technical debt, software licensing, or similar operational and governance metrics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
