Our internships and Co-ops are designed to provide you with a business relevant project that will allow you to independently manage your own area of responsibility, while receiving support from an assigned Supervisor and Technical Mentor.

We are seeking a student to join us for a 4-month co-op position starting in May 2026. This position can be based out of any Bird offices in Canada.
What You’ll Be Working On
Support workshops and working sessions with business and technical stakeholders to understand current processes, systems, and future business needs.Assist with gap analysis, requirements documentation, and solution development under the guidance of experienced analysts and architects.Identify opportunities for process and system improvements based on application and platform capabilities.Provide functional support for assigned business applications and assist with issue analysis and troubleshooting.Support development and solution teams by clarifying business and functional requirements and reviewing proposed solutions.Participate in system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including assisting with test script development and execution.Create, update, and maintain documentation and training materials related to application, current state and future state processes and high-level solution architectures.Ensure documentation is maintained in approved repositories in accordance with company standards.Support the creation of solution artifacts such as process flows, diagrams, and blueprints.Gain exposure to enterprise standards, reference architectures, and design patterns used to guide solution delivery.Assist with reviewing solutions against non-functional considerations (e.g., security, performance, reliability, scalability) under supervision.Develop reports, dashboards using tools such as Power BIContribute to the Proof of Concept (PoC) and implementation of AI-based solutions including the development of Agentic AI for simple use casesWho We Need On Our Team
