Duration: 12 Months + Extension (up to 24 months)

Project Overview:
CTS, in collaboration with Technology & Innovation Procurement, requires a senior-level procurement specialist to lead competitive IT procurements, draft and manage contracts, ensure trade agreement compliance, and provide advisory support to project teams and executives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex competitive procurements (RFP, RFQ, NRFP)

• Draft, negotiate, and manage IT contracts

• Ensure compliance with government trade agreements (CFTA, NWPTA, etc.)

• Advise project managers, IT leadership, and executive stakeholders

• Track procurement progress, milestones, and resolve issues

• Support enterprise IT and digital transformation initiatives

Mandatory

Skills & Experience:

• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related field

• SCMP, CPPB, CPPO, CSPM, or equivalent procurement designation

• 8+ years public sector procurement experience

• 5+ years complex competitive procurement experience

• 8+ years contract drafting and management experience

• 8+ years stakeholder advisory experience

• 7+ years government trade agreement knowledge

• 7+ years enterprise IT environment experience
