Our client is looking for a Sr. Network Consultant with strong expertise in data routing and switching, as well as solid experience in wireless network assessment and setup.
Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing network environments for our clients, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. This role involves frequent travel to client sites both within and outside the city.
Must Have's:
5+ years of experience as a Network Consultant/ EngineerVery strong skills in data routing and switching (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, QoS).Solid understanding and hands-on experience in wireless technologies (Wi-Fi design, RF fundamentals, wireless controllers, AP configuration).Familiarity with major networking vendors (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Juniper).Excellent communication and client-facing abilitiesAbility and willingness to travel frequentlyNice to Have's:
Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CWNA, or equivalent are a plus.Experience with network security, firewalls, and monitoring tools.Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex data routing and switching solutions.Conduct comprehensive wireless network assessments
, including site surveys, coverage analysis, and performance optimization.Plan, deploy, and maintain wireless network infrastructures, ensuring reliable connectivity.Provide expert consultation to clients on network architecture, best practices, and technology improvements.Perform network health checks, audits, and documentation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects.Travel to client locations as required (local and out-of-city).
