Position Summary

Overlander Mountain Lodge is seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our team at Overlander Mountain Lodge and Jasper East Cabins. Located in the scenic Canadian Rockies, this role is essential in delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting smooth daily operations across both properties. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and dedicated to making every guest’s stay memorable.

Contract start dates are available in March, April, and May!

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel management systems.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries, including directions, recommendations, and general information.
  • Provide information about lodge amenities and local attractions.
  • Handle and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality at all times.
  • Manage reservations and room assignments.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or other operational concerns.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of guest information.
  • Follow all company safety and security procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Job duties may change based on the needs of the business and the team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a front desk or hospitality role preferred, ideally in a lodge, hotel, or resort setting
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to commit to a seasonal contract
  • Highly self-motivated with a can-do attitude and a commitment to excellence
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
