Program Overview
The Quality Improvement Coordinator (QIC) is the point of contact for all non-clinical interactions between the Edmonton North Primary Care Network (PCN) and an assigned group of member primary care providers and the teams they work with at their clinic. This role works in collaboration with all PCN departments to provide the best service to member physicians and their clients.
This role is based out of the Edmonton Health Hub North location and includes travel to clinic offices. This role is eligible for a hybrid work model.
Position
The QIC builds strong relationships with member physicians and clinic staff, increases PCN program awareness and uptake, and ensures all member issues related to the PCN are addressed in a positive, timely manner. Working under the Medical Home model, the QIC employs principles and tools related to quality improvement and practice facilitation to assist primary care providers to improve efficiency, access and clinical care delivery in alignment with PCN supported quality improvement initiatives via education, coaching and skills training opportunities.
