Your Mission
As a Cross-Trained Advanced Care Paramedic/Firefighter, you are a vital part of the emergency response team, delivering advanced medical care and fire rescue services in high-pressure situations. This role combines clinical expertise with operational readiness—ensuring equipment and vehicles are prepared 24/7, participating in drills and inspections, and responding to emergencies with precision and professionalism. You’ll maintain compliance with provincial standards and company protocols, assist with training and documentation, and represent International SOS and the client with integrity.
With a focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous skill development, you’ll be ready to act when every second counts.
How You’ll Contribute
As a Cross-Trained Advanced Care Paramedic/Firefighter you'll combine medical expertise with fire rescue skills to protect lives and property:
The Talent We’re Looking For
Must-haves (minimum requirements):
• Work experience as an Advanced Care Paramedic/Firefighter
• Fire Certifications(not limited to):
• Exceptional collaboration with other groups and the ability to work under pressure
• Current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Alignment with our values of expertise,passion,respect and care
Preference for:
• Experience in an industrial setting
• A high level of knowledge and the ability to interpret relevant medical and operational guidelines, protocols, policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Collaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value
• Hold others accountable, and expect others to do the same
