Mortgage Professional for the
Edmonton area
!

Compensation: this is a fully commissioned position.

Please Note: Edmonton area role. This is a mobile SALES role requiring the successful candidate to live in the Edmonton Region.

As a Mortgage Professional you are an active sales employee and play an integral role in the development of quality mortgage opportunities through realtors, builders, renovation companies, associations, and groups to obtain new mortgage opportunities for Servus within an assigned territory. You utilize your expert knowledge in mortgages and apply technical expertise in the delivery of all mortgage related products/service, including High Ratio Mortgages, Conventional Financing, Construction, and Home Equity Line of Credit Mortgages.

What you’ll be doing:

Present a professional, confident, and informed demeanor that appropriately represents the Servus Brand and Values

Conduct a regular site call program to provide dealers with information and education on Servus’ products and services to develop increased application volume

Regularly attend referral network meetings – showcase yourself and Servus as an excellent partner for their purchasers

Prepare, complete, and submit mortgage applications through Credit Path and/or Filogix, as required

Facilitate the transition of a mortgage approval through to funding

Identify and prioritize suitable prospects to effectively develop and implement a value-added Business Development Strategy to acquire new referral relationships

What you bring:

A network of connections with referral sources (ex. Realtors, Builders)

5 years of proven experience with prospecting, sales, negotiation, and relationship development

Strong mortgage lending and underwriting experience

Professional experience in business development with previous sales experience required

Flexible work hours including evenings and weekends as required, including open houses and trade shows.
