Job Summary:
The IPAR team provides independent, insightful, accurate, and timely investment performance measurement, analytics, and attribution analysis for clients and Total AUM across all portfolios and strategies. The team works closely with internal investment teams and client relationship groups to deliver high-quality performance insights and reporting.

As a Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in client care, relationship management, performance analytics, attribution analysis, and discrepancy investigation while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support analysts in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on investment portfolio and strategy performance across public and illiquid asset classes

  • Assist in producing performance measurement and attribution results for Investment Management, Executive, and other business divisions

  • Review and approve daily and monthly performance and attribution reports prepared by the team

  • Investigate performance discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of issues

  • Support rotational deliverables including daily, monthly, and quarter-end reporting tasks

  • Participate in special projects including research of industry best practices and development of enhanced analytics capabilities

  • Monitor and support implementation of changes to performance measurement systems and methodologies

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and investment teams

  • Translate complex investment data into meaningful commentary and insights

Required Experience:

  • Experience working within the investment management industry

  • Strong analytical thinking and advanced problem-solving skills

  • Experience assessing and validating data quality

  • University degree in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field

Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Experience with performance measurement and analytics across public and private asset classes, including derivatives

  • Advanced understanding of the asset management industry across multiple asset classes and complex instruments

  • Knowledge of valuation methodologies and accounting treatments

  • Experience with Fixed Income performance attribution calculations

  • Experience in client performance reporting and investment commentary writing

Required Skills:

  • Investment performance measurement

  • Performance attribution analysis

  • Data validation and quality assessment

Preferred Skills:

  • Performance measurement methodologies

  • Performance attribution models

  • Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS)

  • Fixed Income performance attribution calculations
