Due to growth, we are looking for a Branch Manager to join Menard Canada Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta. Reporting to the Western Division Director, the Branch Manager will be tasked with increasing presence and opening up a new Edmonton office. This multi-faceted role will appeal to a Geotechnical Engineer, with an entrepreneurial drive. Branch Manager responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of project execution, from planning to completion, ensuring alignment with client goals and project specifications.
Using network and contacts, increase Menard’s presence in Alberta and play a role in developing business
Oversee contract negotiations and management with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring all parties fulfill their obligations.
Review peer and/or junior engineering drawings.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to timelines.
Lead and mentor project teams, including project managers, engineers, and subcontractors, fostering collaboration and high performance.
Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications, conducting regular inspections and audits.
Manage project budgets, monitor expenses and prepare financial reports, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
Integrate sustainable practices and innovations into project planning and execution to minimize environmental impact.
