Location: Spruce Grove
Analytical Laboratory
- Process control (e.g., Production parameter control)
- Quality control (e.g., Finished goods periodical testing)
- Familiar with the operations/technique of analytical instruments
- R&D of new processes on a lab-scale
- Maintain and control laboratory analytical and testing records
- Perform First-Article testing for new customers or parts, prior to mass production
- Perform review/gap analysis on customer’s specifications for chemical processes, with adequate process control measures
- Involve in quality issues investigations, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Lead investigations for recovery action on any non-conformity
- Control of chemical logistics for entirety of production
- Manage and maintain WTP at optimum system performance for treatment of chemical waste
- Troubleshoot WTP system issues when waste discharge is non-compliant to Trade Effluent standards
- All other tasks that might be assigned from time to time
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a chemical processing or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of chemical engineering fundamentals, thermodynamics, and reaction engineering.
- Familiarity with process control systems (e.g., DCS, PLC) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
