Sarens Canada is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer. This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Branch Manager or Project Manager.

As a Project Engineer, you will be tasked with ensuring that the maintenance department at Sarens Canada is provided with exceptional service. Specifically, you will be tasked with:

  • Design and develop engineering drawings, such as lifting plans, rigging plans, and transport arrangements.
  • Produce equipment calculations and operational procedures.
  • Stamp drawings according to requirements and design.
  • Supervise on-site operations if required.
  • Responsible for executing engineering on site.

    • The ideal candidate will have the following technical capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or civil engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional Engineer, licensed in Ontario, or any other Engineering Order in Canada.
  • 1 - 5 years of experience as a project engineer or project manager in the heavy lifting industry, crane, or transportation.
  • Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experienced with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • 3D software knowledge.
