Responsibilities
• Assisting with project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and cost control
• Reviewing drawings
• Coordinating work specific scope / trades
• Verifying material quantities, hours, and rates
• Participating in project meetings
• Submit requests for information
• Inputting / Updating deficiency logs
• Producing as-built drawings
• Performing quantity takeoffs
• Conduct safety inspections
• Communicating changes with craft personnel
• Setting up / Maintaining record keeping
• Adhoc duties as required
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
• Pursuing a degree or diploma in engineering with a mechanical or civil major.
• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated.
Working Conditions:
• Successful applicants must be able to provide their own CSA approved steel toed boots and be willing to take and pass a Pre-Access Alcohol & Drug Test.
• Our Fabrication Facility is not easily accessible by public transportation so the successful applicant will need access to a vehicle.
