Are you an experienced geotechnical engineer ready to take the next step in your career? Stantec is a global engineering consulting firm dedicated to creating sustainable and innovative solutions. We are seeking a motivated Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer (P.Eng.) to join our Edmonton team and help deliver impactful projects in our community.

The successful candidate will work closely with a local team of 30 geotechnical professionals based out of Edmonton, supported by a wider, regional team of over 200 geotechnical professionals.

Your opportunity

    Manage and execute small to mid-sized geotechnical projects from proposal through completion, including planning, analysis, reporting, and client communication.

  • Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Geological or Mining Engineering, or Geology.

  • 5–10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related services.

  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA or eligible for registration transfer from another province.

  • Valid Canadian driver’s license with access to a vehicle.

  • Ability to live and work in Canada.

  • Residing in Edmonton Alberta, or willing to relocate.

  • Typical office environment includes working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
