SUMMARY OF THE ROLEMammoet is looking for a task-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our Tendering and Estimating team in Edmonton, AB. This role will be responsible for the creation of estimate packages, project estimations, technical risk mitigation plans, and bid preparation, all in alignment with internal bidding protocols. This ensures that the company receives well-considered, comprehensive proposals that meet both customer expectations and internal bidding standards, all within the established timelines.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGResponsibilities (including but not limited to)
Conduct all business in a professional, respectful mannerEnsure the quotations prepared are in line with the global tendering guidelinesConsult operations/engineering to ensure proposals are operationally feasible with execution methods confirmed by engineeringContribute to and implement Tendering/Estimating policy and determine execution strategies in line with the sales strategyUnderstand and execute project requirementsEstimates the cost of work and provide quotes or bid packages to the clientFollows up with clients to determine the status of the quoted work and answer any questions they may haveWHAT YOU’LL NEEDEducation & Experience
Diploma or degree in a related technical field preferred (CET, EIT)Heavy Lift/Crane/Transport technical understanding desiredIndustrial or Pre-Construction Management experience in similar industryBasic level experience in sales systemsKnowledge of AutoCAD is an assetCompetencies of a Successful Candidate:

This will be a full-time position operating out of our Edmonton, OR Ft. McMurray location on a full-time basis.
