We are seeking a dynamic and experienced educator to lead our high school Summer School program as Principal. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for an internal candidate who is passionate about fostering student success and eager to gain leadership experience in a high school setting. The Summer School Principal will provide teachers with Power School Markbook support (i.e. maintenance, troubleshooting and finalization of staff Mark Books).

This position plays a key role in overseeing program operations.

• Oversee all aspects of the high school summer school program, including staffing, scheduling, and program implementation
• Ensure compliance with Alberta Education guidelines
• Support the Registration of students into the summer school program

• Lead, mentor, and support summer school staff,
• Be available to provide guidance to address challenges and improve program outcomes.
• Provide teachers with Power School markbook support (i.e. set-up, maintenance, troubleshooting and finalization of staff markbooks).

• Monitor student progress and work collaboratively with staff to support our students
• Ensure marks are submitted to Alberta Education at the end of summer school.

• Manage the summer school resources and facilities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff.
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the program.
