This role supports construction projects across Northern Alberta and is responsible for leading all aspects of the construction site to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget project delivery. The ideal candidate is a strong site leader with a safety-first mindset and proven experience managing complex construction projects from start to finish.
- Location: Edmonton, AB (projects across Northern Alberta)
- Pay Rate: $150,000 annually + company truck and gas card
- Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

- Lead and implement all site safety programs, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and company standards
- Maintain proactive safety management and site security practices
- Partner with senior project leadership to deliver projects aligned with safety, schedule, budget, and client expectations
- Lead construction teams through all phases including preconstruction, site setup, execution, and closeout
- Plan and review construction programs, logistics, manpower, equipment, and temporary facilities
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including LEED principles and Last Planner methodologies
- Manage workforce performance, development, and provide constructive feedback
- Act as the primary liaison between field operations and internal departments
- Support project forecasting and oversee site-level financial performance
- Participate in month-end project reviews and reporting
- Plan and facilitate trade meetings to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation for constructability and discrepancies
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain the master project schedule
- Lead project completion and handover activities
- Ensure QA/QC processes are implemented, documented, and compliant with contract requirements
- Maintain required training aligned with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
- Minimum 5+ years of superintendent or relevant on-site construction leadership experience
- Journeyman trade certificate or relevant post-secondary education
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Experience with commercial, recreation center, and industrial warehouse projects preferred
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, specifications, and financial controls
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project
- Proven leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced construction environments
