Underground Foreman

UNDERGROUND FOREMAN – Water & Sewer Construction

WCL is looking for an experienced Underground Foreman to lead our water and sewer crews following earthworks. This role is responsible for safety, production, quality, and day-to-day coordination of underground operations.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 5+ years experience in underground water and sewer construction.
• Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Hand, or senior underground crew member.
• Strong knowledge of water, sewer, and storm pipe installation.
• Solid understanding of line, grade, trench safety, and shoring requirements.
• Ability to plan daily work, coordinate crews, and manage production targets.
• Experience working with excavator operators, pipe layers, topmen, and labourers.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, grades, and project specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Safety-focused with a strong commitment to site safety and compliance.

REQUIRED TICKETS:

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• WHMIS & CSTS 2020 (or willing to obtain).

SCHEDULE:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
• 6 days on / 1 day off.
