Nanny

Looking for a Live-Out Nanny to help us out in Brintnell in Edmonton from February 11 2026 - June 24 2026. Hours are generally Monday-Thursday 12pm-4:45pm and Fridays 9am-4:45pm; a full calendar with exceptions is provided at time of interview.

We would also potentially be looking to rehire for Sept 2026-June 2027.

Pay rate: $20/hour

As a nanny for us, you can enjoy some days off during school holidays including March Break! A breakdown of exact days will off be provided at an interview.  

We are a family of five who enjoy music, hiking, and playing games together. Dad is an elementary school teacher. Mom works from home for the Government of Alberta and will be home while the nanny is taking care of our kids in the house.  

Our three boys consist of twin 4 year-old boys and an 20 month year old. All of our boys love to play! We are looking forward to hiring someone who will enjoy being active with our boys and have creative ideas about playing indoors with our boys during the long cold Alberta winters.  

In the afternoons our twins have 2 hours of quiet time while the youngest naps. During quiet/nap time we are hoping for help with meal preparation and light housework, when the housework is done you can enjoy some downtime.  

Desired Qualities and

Skills:

• experience caring for kids  

• clear vulnerable persons check  

• clear criminal record check  

• up-to-date CPR/First Aid training  

• enthusiasm to play with preschoolers and toddlers

• non-smoker  

• experience caring for twins is an asset

• a valid class 5 driver’s license to drive kids to parks and activities

Responsibilities:  

• serve lunch and snacks to children  

• put youngest down for nap  

• supervise children during quiet time

• complete diaper changes, assist with toileting, and clothing changes

• play with children

• communicate with parents about children’s behaviour (positive and negative) on an ongoing basis

• provide consequences/discipline as outlined by parents including time outs for preschool-aged children

• meal prep and some light household duties during the children's nap
