Full-Time Nanny Needed – 14 Days On / 14 Days Off
📍 Leduc, Alberta

Hello! We are a friendly family in Leduc, Alberta looking for a reliable, nurturing, and experienced nanny to provide full-time care for our two boys (ages 2 years and 6 months).

Due to our work schedules, we are seeking someone comfortable with a rotational schedule that includes overnight and weekend care.

Schedule

• 14 days on / 14 days off

• Rotation runs Wednesday to Wednesday

• Weekdays:
Children typically attend daycare from approximately 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

• If the children are sick or daycare is closed, full daytime care at home will be required

• Evenings:
Prepare children’s dinner, playtime, bath time, and bedtime routine

• Overnight care:
– Nanny sleeps in a private spare bedroom
– Role is primarily on-call while children sleep
– Must be present overnight to ensure safety and respond if needed

This position offers two full weeks of work followed by two full weeks completely off.

Responsibilities

• Loving and attentive care for an infant and toddler

• Morning and evening routines

• Transportation to and from daycare

• Full-day care when children are sick or daycare is unavailable

• Light housekeeping related to the children

• Children’s laundry

• Tidying up after yourself and the children

• Feeding and letting out the family dog

Compensation

• Paid per hour for active childcare hours approximately (108 hrs)

• Flat rate per night for overnight on-call care

• Would consider a “Nanny share” opportunity to help increase wages for nanny.

Optional additional tasks may be offered from time to time at additional pay, if accepted by the nanny, such as:

• Deep cleaning

• Assistance with our family business

Ideal Candidate

• Experience caring for infants and toddlers

• Dependable, responsible, and safety-focused

• Energetic and engaging

• Comfortable with extended care, overnight presence, and schedule flexibility when daycare is unavailable

• Valid driver’s license required

This role is well suited for someone working online, studying remotely, or managing personal projects during the daytime hours when the children are at daycare.
