Labour Relations Coordinator

• Sourcing, screening, and selecting Craft/Trades applicants to fit project-specific requirements
• Extending offers and completing all related correspondence and onboarding requirements for skilled craft
• Assisting with the placement of skilled labour, including transfers between projects and updating labour tracking systems accordingly
• Analyzing, understanding, and applying labour agreements
• Assisting in the site mobilization of successful Craft/Trades personnel
• Verifying Technical and Safety Qualifications
• Performing administrative duties such as scanning, tracking, completing forms, and taking meeting minutes.
• Creating and maintaining confidential hard and electronic files
• Fostering positive relationships with colleagues, clients, Building Trade organizations, and subcontractors
• Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders, as required and developing and maintaining strong, customer-focused relationships with key stakeholders and all decision-makers

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in labour relations or related field preferred
• Must be able to work independently or in a team environment in a highly fast-paced environment
• Be able to navigate the various Microsoft Office applications proficiently
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines
• Be able to shift priorities seamlessly, have a keen eye for detail and be able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times

• Previous experience in labour relations and unionized environments (Preferred)
• Previous Craft/Trade recruitment experience (Preferred)
