& Summary At PwC, our people in workforce consulting focus on providing consulting services related to human resources, talent management, and organisational development. They analyse client needs, develop people and organisation strategies. These individuals offer guidance and support to help clients optimise their workforce, enhance employee engagement, and drive organisational effectiveness.

As a workforce consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide clients with comprehensive support and drive end-to-end organisation and talent transformation initiatives to support the overall strategy of the organisation, applying a breadth of understanding of organisational and workforce consulting solutions across topics such as workforce strategy, talent development, rewards, organisational design to improve employee experience and organisational effectiveness.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As an Associate in Workforce Transformation, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers helping organizations navigate complex people, culture and change challenges from strategy through execution. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assisting in the management of a portfolio of Workforce Transformation client engagements

  • Working with PwC and client teams to design and implement people‑centred strategies that enable successful transformation

  • Supporting and guiding clients through organizational change—from future‑state visioning to readiness, adoption and sustainment

  • Helping manage engagement economics, deliver high‑quality work, and ensure delivery excellence

  • Contributing to business development activities by identifying opportunities with new and existing clients and supporting proposal development

  • Continuing to build your own and the team’s technical acumen in Workforce Transformation topics, both locally and across our global PwC network

  • Keeping up to date on trends across the people and change landscape, sharing insights, and contributing to thought leadership

  • Developing strong internal relationships and your PwC brand

  • Leading or contributing to practice development initiatives, including innovation projects, capability-building, and advancing how our practice applies AI and emerging technologies to deliver greater impact for clients

  • Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • 2-3 years of experience in one or more Workforce Transformation areas, such as:

    Organizational change management

    Operating model development and implementation

    Change impact assessment and stakeholder engagement

    Strategic communications using modern, creative techniques and media

    Designing change journeys, personas, learning experiences, and adoption strategies

    Proposal development and support for business development efforts

    Facilitation, design thinking, and co‑creation with internal teams and clients

  • Self‑motivated with a passion for client work and collaborative teaming

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing multiple priorities during periods of change

  • Willingness to learn, adopt and lead new ways of working (e.g., journey mapping, co‑creation, gamification, AI‑enabled solutions)

  • Curious, energetic, and a lifelong learner

  • Strong communicator and storyteller with an ability to simplify complex messages

  • Fluency in French and English is an asset

  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives

    The salary range for this position is $58,400 - $97,500. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location.
